Dedicated for God's Service
DSCF0707-1Nimrod and Marivic Aranal decided to dedicate their lives in helping the dumagat tribe learn a civilized way of life.  Starting with the children who can easily adopt and learn how to read and write, they devoted their time in a non-formal education program to help these children grow not only socially but also spiritually.  Sitio Inuman is a place where the dumagat tribe settled and made their homes made of bamboo and wild grass.  To reach the place you will spend a three hour drive from Manila to Sitio Ilas, and from there you will reach Sitio Inuman by hiking three hours through a mountain trail, rivers and streams.

Ilas Evangelistic Crusade Reaps 19 souls

The Lord’s hand is very powerful and we are very blessed to serve a God whose love encompass all of His creations.

Last Sabbath, February 9, we concluded our first 2-weeks evangelistic crusade with a church celebration at Ilas Adventist Church.  Praises to God and thanks filled the sanctuary as we fellowshiped with all the members.  Testimonies of the candidates for baptism inspired everyone to rededicate themselves to God’s service and to continue serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we wait for His soon return.

In the afternoon, celebration with the youth made everyone happy to fellowship more and encouraged the candidates to make new friends in the new family that they will belong to.

After the youth program, everyone slowly made their way to the waterfalls where we scheduled the baptism.  19 of the 35 regular nightly attendees accepted Christ as their personal savior and 10 others promised to continue studying with the help of the elders.  Let us continue to pray for our brethren at sitio Ilas San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan as they become instruments in spreading the good news of Christ salvation to all.  (pictures at the gallery )

Paradise 2 Church Renovation
Image    It was almost two years since the brethren of Paradise 2 planned to renovate the church to cater for the growing membership.  At last, renovation started and help from friends continuously poured in here and abroard.  Though the brethren cannot use the church for sabbath services at present, members of Macabud church and Paradise 3 church are blessed for they can worship with  Paradise 2 members every other sabbath alternately.  God surely bless His children.  Macabud church is still under construction, yet, warm fellowship can be seen every Saturday as newly baptized members are eager to learn God's words and be inspired with testimonies about God's guidance and love.  We know God will not abandon His children in this place, and He will surely guide them as they wait for His soon return.  Pray for them and Hope you could lend a hand.  (Watch video clip or see latest pictures )
